The Chancellery of the Prime Minister is the federal public service that reports to the Prime Minister. It assists the Prime Minister in coordinating government work. It is responsible for preparing and implementing the Prime Minister's regulatory powers, particularly in relation to public procurement. It is also tasked with providing logistical support to the Prime Minister and increasingly acts as an interface between the Federal State and federated entities on the one hand and the European Union on the other. The Chancellery provides information on the policy decisions made by the government and fosters Belgium's image worldwide.
